Wash the sweet potatoes and use a brush to remove the dirt from the surface. The sweet potato with too big or too long is best cut into the pot, otherwise it may not be soft enough in the middle.
After the sweet potato is coded, pour it into clear water.
Do not use too much water or too little, probably soaked in about a quarter of the sweet potato.
Cover the lid and open the fire until the water boils. After five minutes, turn to medium heat for ten minutes, then turn off the fire for another five minutes. If you smell the burnt smell in the middle, you can turn off the fire immediately, and then smash it.

I personally like to cook the sweet potato to a little bit of coke, so I will turn off the fire immediately when it is completely dry and smells burnt. If you don't like the sweet potato, you can add more water, or turn the fire down a little longer, and then cook for a few more minutes!
