Another year, sweet-scented osmanthus, I don’t know if it’s too dry because of the weather. This year’s sweet-scented osmanthus is particularly sweet. The industrious person decided to make a bottle of sweet-scented osmanthus, brewing tea, and making snacks. On the sunny morning, I chose the sweet-scented osmanthus and took the petals directly from the tree. This time I chose Dangui. Bright colors and rich aromas.
Sift the scented osmanthus with a sieve, remove the flower stalks, leaves and other impurities (the flower stalk does not pick up does not matter)
Spread the salt evenly on the sweet-scented osmanthus, gently turn it up and down by hand, and soon the osmanthus will have yellow water seeping out, the more the water will drip. Squeeze the yellow water as much as possible, the more the better. In the end, a large pot of osmanthus becomes very rare
Wrap the osmanthus with water in a gauze and put it in the clear water of the basin for repeated soaking and rinsing. This step is to wash the salt and yellow water as much as possible. This osmanthus will not be embarrassed.
Rinse with cold water, squeeze out the water, pour it into a clean bowl and mix well with honey. Disinfect the glass bottle with boiling water in advance. Bottle the honey osmanthus, and put a layer of honey on the surface after loading.
The osmanthus can not be washed, otherwise it will oxidize and discolor. It must be salted and then washed to not change color. Don't worry about the sweet-scented osmanthus after salted water, the aroma is still there, and the hands are also full of aroma.
